Reading from Fears of the Vampire
Jebel tells us of a world in the past...

I was originally from a world where things were simple. People were one of the gods favored creatures and these gods frequently showed themselves. There were no disbelivers. These gods manifested themselves in many different forms in those days, most of them very frightening. When I was but a boy I had many times seen the god Amunna in his purest form - the bright disk of white energy. The gods would speak to the people through their thoughts.

In all the millenniums since I was privileged to have obtained eternal life from Amunna himself I too have been degraded. Once being known as a powerful sorcerer to now a thing called a Vampire.
